RC Pune West-side, RC Poona West, RC Pune Shivajinagar jointly organized a Blood Donation Camp at Community Hall, Ajanta Avenues, Paud Road, Pune 411 029 with the assistance from ISI Blood Bank. Since 1st July was a working day, the timings were split from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. The camp started with blood donation by celebrated Chess Player GM Abhijeet Kunte. Noted Musician Dr. Salil Kulkarni was also present at the occasion. Photo of the same is enclosed. Total 55 bottles of blood were collected during the day. Apart from blood donation, an Eye Donation Form filling counter was also opened at the venue and around 70 persons filled such forms. Also posters creating awareness against the ill-effects of cigarettes, tobacco and gutkha were displayed at the venue.
