A Shadu mati Ganapati idol making workshop was held for 72 school children of 8th standard of Erandawane Madhyamik Prashala, Pune. This project is initiated by our District to save environment by arresting water pollution which is caused by visarjan of Ganapati idols made of Plaster of Paris. Students were provided with half a kg dough each of shadu mati and were taught step by step with demonstration, a method of making Ganapati idol. End of the workshop resulted in 75 beautiful idols of Ganapati. It took preparation of three days before conducting the workshop. RCPW club members and students enjoyed the activity thoroughly. Total 10 from RCPW family participated in the workshop.
